The Colorado trail is a spectacular adventure and it is Colorado's premier long distance trail. Stretching almost 500 miles from Denver to Durango, It travels through the spectacular Colorado Rocky mountains amongst peaks with lakes, creeks and diverse ecosystems.
The moment you step into the trails you start experiencing the amazement of the tall white trees on which you see the "eye shaped" marks that the local people call the "eyes of the woods and they are watching you always". You may feel that those trees would talk to you or thank you for visiting them.
The deeper you walk into the woods the more you feel isolated from the busy world and of its craziness and you senses start listening and feeling the silence and sounds of the woods. It was a very short visit but created a long lasting memory....!
